2 Corinthians 4:6 (NET): 4:6 “For God, who said ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.”
This is such a beautiful verse that teaches a glorious truth. In creation God spoke and there was light. Darkness yielded to the power of his word.
That same God is calling light into the darkness within us. He is filling us with his light. He is revealing himself in the face of Christ. At the power of his word, we are changed. At the power of his word we are transformed.
Praise God who caused light to shine out of darkness and who “has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son” (Col 1:13)
